I’ve just been diagnosed with both chlamydia and ghonorea 😭 today just after losing my job yesterday. I already got herpes at the beginning of this year and I’m really freaking out because I know I won’t ever be able to tell my family this I’m terrified how long I could have had these for and if it gets worse as it can get really severe if it’s been for a while but I don’t even know because no symptoms have shown not that I noticed though

Hi. Hope matters have settled down for you, since your post. I am intrigued as to why you would want to share your sexual health with your family? Partner/s yes, but why your family? My health is not my family's business. By now, I expect you have been treated for chlamydia and gonorrhea and that you are 'clear' of them. Nothing to tell family, there! Herpes will always be in your body. Be assured that most of the population of the world has herpes. No stigma there. There are some things you can do to reduce the frequency of outbreaks, but some triggers are uncontrollable. Good luck!

Its OK to not let yor family know about your STD/STI infections..

You will be OK, do you feel alone and lost without telling them your situations? ( i got that sometimes, in fact last nite i cry screaming for my mom, because i am alone )
