i started desogestrel mini pill 6 days after my cycle as nurse said i didnt need to wait till next period ,my patners comdom spilt last night.need to know am i still protective or do i need the mornin after pill

Often it takes 7 days to be fully protected after 5 days into the cycle, however, I don’t know much about that type of pill. I would trust your nurse, but being a very stressed person myself, would suggest taking the morning after pill just to put your mind at ease wouldn’t worry too much tho especially as your doctor told you it was fine
