i started desogestrel mini pill 6 days after my cycle as nurse said i didnt need to wait till next period ,my patners comdom spilt last night.need to know am i still protective or do i need the mornin after pill

Often it takes 7 days to be fully protected after 5 days into the cycle, however, I don’t know much about that type of pill. I would trust your nurse, but being a very stressed person myself, would suggest taking the morning after pill just to put your mind at ease :) wouldn’t worry too much tho especially as your doctor told you it was fine
