I don't know if I have herpes

I'm a 16yr old in a lesbian relationship and about a week ago I found a blister next to my bottom. I thought it would go away with a bit of sudocreme but it seems to have spread as I have three more and possibly a fourth, they're around the size of a pound coin each and are really painful. I have told my sister and am too scared to tell my girlfriend, should I go to the doctors? Ignore it?! I don't know what to do please offer advice!!! - Louisa x

Absolutely go and get it checked. The size of the blisters don't sound like HSV to me.
