leg cramps

Greetings,

I’m 21weeks pregnant and for the last couple of weeks I’ve been woken up by strong leg cramps, specially my left side.

Had one day that I had to limp due to the pain and muscle cramp.

I tried, warm bath to the leg, used a feet massager with vibrations, massage with essential oil, sleep with a pillow underneath.

Any remedies that have worked for anyone of you?

Thank you

Doing calf stretches before bed, plus drinking plenty of water seemed to help me. I’ve heard magnesium supplements can also be good, but you’d have to check if safe in pregnancy as I’m unsure sorry. Hope that helps as remember it can be pretty painful!
