Hi I've just been diagnosed at 58.

Welcome Koala11, from a fellow member of Autism Support.
Hope you are processing confirmation of the diagnosis news OK. Your insight has won out after all!
Yes, but it's still a roller coaster of emotions. It's bringing up all sorts of memories and new ways of looking at things.
Yes, it can feel like a lot of unexpected emotional hard work (validating and a relief one minute, then confusing or puzzling another time etc.).
How do you find you prefer learning new things (reading guidance, watching videos, listening to podcasts, online video / webinar groups, online text chat / social media groups, etc.)?
Are some areas of looking at / tackling / adapting things to better suit you now seeming like more hard work than others?
Which new ways of doing things you have tried have suited you better than others?
I know that seems a bit like a lot of nosey set of questions - I don't mean it that way (just trying to understand what those of us here on the forum might be able to share or suggest to help ease your discovery journey).
