How do you deal with the loneliness?

I’m a mum to an ASD/ADD daughter, she’s 21 years.

We do get along ok, although we are very different. Through this I struggle with the loneliness. Can anyone relate to this. Any advice ?

Hi FirstCoffee,

Are you an autistic society member ? I think they have a parents group on there? You could also see if there are any groups locally for parents. A friend told me there is a local parents group on facebook here, maybe there is something similar in your area?

Hi Bee-Bop, thanks for replying. I’m not on Facebook but will take a look in here. Thanks again.
