Itchy brain

Hi. I'm in the process of getting diagnosed. Does anyone else get an itchy brain? I get so overloaded that my brain and head feel fuzzy and everything seems confusing. I lie down and don't speak and close my eyes and after 10 or so minutes it goes back to "normal". If someone could help, that'd be nice.

Sounds like a sensory overload and you’re in freeze mode so by you resting and closing your eyes , that’s your way of calming, by making you and your environment a ‘low arousal zone’. Sounds like you’re doing the right thing for you 😌😊 maybe think about what sort of things are triggering your ‘itchy brain’ such as loud sounds or too many noises at once, strong smells etc. So you can try to avoid it if you can.

Hope this is helpful
