Hi

Does anyone know of anyone who can help me come to terms with my daughter diagnosis I have so many questions. The National Autistic Society has closed their help lines .

It sounds odd but on Instagram, there’s a hashtag #actuallyautistic that has many people with autism talk openly and spread acceptance and awareness. There’s some really good information from various autistic advocates including young women! that may be useful for you and your daughter….

Me and my sister are autistic, she’s 21 I’m 26. Although my mum didn’t know what do to initially she learned a lot about by listening to professionals, other autistic people and reading.

There may be some local parent support groups online and I don’t know if this is still current but National Autistic society have responded to emails before, it’s takes a while but have sent some useful links for me before. X
