Any advice on what I can do. My clothes always rub against my skin and make my skin hurt so badly so I said to my mom maybe it's her laundry detergent that's irritating my skin. But, she said my skin doesn't look irritated which bothered me because my skin does feel like it's peeling off after a sunburn and I don't want anyone to think i'm making this up and am crazy and it's only in my head because the feeling of my skin being in pain is very much real. But it's not just clothing it's certain blankets, pillows, a lot of tactile stuff. Any advice on what i can do to help the pain calm down or subside. I heard maybe benadryl might help it calm down a little bit is that true?

Sensitive Skin And Pain
Please ask your mom kindly to try a different detergent for sensitive skin when she runs out of her current one. Then you guys will see if it is the detergent. Is there anyone you can ask for help that could possibly change her mind about the detergent, maybe another trusted adult?
I have a similar issue, with very raw skin being rubbed by clothes. Benadryl is an anti-allergy (antihistamine) treatment, which might help. (I'm not a doctor or pharmacist so am only guessing) According to one website: "Temporarily relieves pain and itching associated with:
Insect bites
Minor burns
Sunburn
Minor skin irritations
Minor cuts
Scrapes
Rashes due to poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac
Dries the oozing and weeping of poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac."

I feel like Benadryl might relieve you if it's more of an allergy thing, but if your skin is just really sensitive, then you might have more luck with something like Aveeno, or E45 cream. Me and my cousin both have really bad skin and use these. With Aveeno there's one with a green label, and one with a blue label which is the extra strong stuff, and i've found it helps a lot with the rawness, flakiness and stinging There's also calendula cream too.
I also agree with Rosita5, changing the detergent to one that is for sensitive skin could be kinder, and then could rule out if it's the detergent or something else.
Hope this helps and that your skin feels better soon
I would talk to your doctor. There are many conditions ( one of them I have) that cause painful skin and autism (the related stress) could be making it worse
