Hi 3-friends,

A lot of the 'testing' will generally be 'talking' to you & your family - what a typical day is like, what hobbies/interests you have, how you spend your free time (at home & school/college), what your childhood was like, did you have any difficulties as a child (delayed speech, fast speech, problems making friends...). They will often make a diagnosis based upon this.

Once you have your diagnosis it will then come down to talking to school/college about the outcome, what sort of help you feel may benefit you (do you need someone to make notes for you, do you need teachers to note your homework in a diary with dates for submission, would it help for you to leave class a few minutes ahead of the others to avoid noisy/crowded corridoors....).

Best wishes & good luck
