For several years now I have found a keyguard the best, no matter what keyboard. From 3 fingers of each hand I have gone down to one finger of my right hand. I have no control at all over my left hand. But this one finger needs a keyguard to prevent me from landing on two keys at the same time. I have this keyboard on my lap and the monitor on a swingle arm to bring it close to my face to see better. And a rollerball for a mouse. This system helps so much.

Hi,

The version uf Ataxia I have is called 'uninherited'.

My eyesight is not as good as it should be, my coordination is no good either.

At first I had an expensive large button keyboard, it went wrong. I replaced it with this:-

amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00...

Its much cheaper and does the job.

I LOVE Apple keyboards and the trackpads. Being a Computing student I use my ones a lot. I find standard windows keyboards and mouses fiddly and a bit slower to use.
