My 5 year old has FA and is very tactile with other children - hugging, holding hands, stroking hair, etc Is this a feature of FA?

We do not know whether this should be discouraged so that behaviour is more socially acceptable or whether it is due to the FA, dulling the senses and resulting in a very real need to touch. Anyone have any ideas about this?

Just from experience, and no more than that, I'd say it's not a symptom of FA.

Hi castle0365

I don't think this is a feature of FA at all.
