Unfortunately he did not win but I thought you might like to read about a rower on the Australian Paralympic team, called Gavin Bellis, who has ataxia. A true inspiration : )

Sorry Cranwell, to be honest I have not got a clue.

All I can see is that he has hereditory Spinocerebellar ataxia but don't know what type.

It never ceases to amaze me how physically capable I think I am, whilst sitting down.

As soon as I'm on my feet it's another story! On reading about Gavin,and his having

Ataxia, I thought I bet I could do that, then I stood up and reality kicked in! It does

feel good to dream.
