Yes because it makes me tired and tiredness makes me more wobbly.

Coldness makes my muscles rigid too.

I am with Patsy on this one. I do prefer warmer weather though, but not hot. This is where my midday sleep works a treat though, because then you miss the worst of the hot sun and you have more energy to enjoy the evening.

Last year when it was hot I experienced a kind of vertigo dizzy feeling. I remember suddenly getting extremely hot and moved to somewhere much cooler. When I went back into the heat later I suddenly felt much worse and colapsed onto the floor. Everything around me was moving and I felt sick. My guess was it was caused by a change in heat temprature?

I'm a bit different here and love the heat-hence why I end up going on holiday so much! I really really hate the cold. I don't know if it affects my ataxia, or just my general mood, but I love the warmth.

I like the warmth too Alice but not too much. I'm just a bit wary of hot weather because of the experience I described. I do prefer heat to cold though.

I have a terrible time in hot weather! I get dizzy, feel nauseous, and feel desperate to get out of the heat. I live in Florida and summer is upon us...means all errand will be done before noon and I hole up in my nice air conditioned place 😎

My first fall was during a hot spell. I still have no idea what was happening I was wobbling to the toilet. Totally missed the toilet and the frame around it. Hit the floor and dislocated my little finger.
