I am only 51 and have been diagnosed with OPCA (results on blood tests pending). Can you advise me on what jobs to apply for? Need a work from home job, obviously :) have over 30 years of office experience (but my handwriting and speech are shocking....) Help and advice needed ... i get bored too easily and i don't know what to do with myself :)

Writing jobs and Tech Jobs are a good way to go if you are creative and or technical.

I'm very sorry to hear of your diagnosis of OPCA . I was recently after years of a unknown sca, from 2006 been diagnosed with sca 48. I'm 55. I had to admit defeat and give up work in march 2020 after 33 years of being an electronics engineer. It was with hindsight full time work was getting far too much for me. If you have the option for working from home then that's great. I do recognise what you say about handwriting and speech, I have to get my partner to fill out forms and greetings cards. My only concern would be typos related to using a keyboard. Obviously working remotely you wouldn't need to mention your diagnosis. But if keyboard use is fine then that won't a problem then I'm sure it'll be fine and would be a great option for you and I wish you luck.

🤔 Since you have years of office experience…but your handwriting and speech are now causing difficulties.

It’s possible..you could still put your skills to use via your computer ..by using special equipment,,
