Deteriorating acquired ataxia

Hello,I have had acquired ataxia since 2014 which has been stable until now.

I am now finding increased tremors in my hands and a very poor balance/gait problems. Indeed I have had 2 instances where I couldn't walk at all without help from my wife and son .

I have epilepsy and wondered whether the pills have anything to do with it.

I am on Lamotrigine and Clobezam atm .

It’s possible.. your changes in symptoms are related to your specific ataxia diagnosis

Or..they could be side effects of the medication. This link gives information about potential side effects..
