Heart problem with ataxia

Does ataxia effect the heart and chest as ig gets worse

🤔 You’ve mentioned similar previously..If you’re having worrying symptoms it really is best to have your GP check them out..it would give you peace of mind.

My daughter (no ataxia) was concerned about chest and upper back pain. After a checkup she was told everything was ok..the cause was likely due to intercostal muscle strain.

As I know only Friedreich Ataxia is concerned with heart failure. Their heart is getting worse but as far as sca is concerned? Not at all
