Just found out that in Japan there is a medicine called TRH Analogue Talterin which is developed for the lack of the hormone that hypophysis emit. (as I understood) means exactly for us with ataxia.
Does anyone know more about this?
Talterin was marketed in Japan in July 2000 to improve ataxia in patients with spinal cerebellar degeneration. He is not available in China or the UK, so the only way you can get Talterin is to get someone to buy it in Japan. The effectiveness of tarterine is about 20%, and it is more pronounced in mild cases. In severe cases, it is probably not effective. If you have access or are financially able, you can try to buy it. I took tretinoin and it did help, but it was more expensive, so I stopped now. And tarterine only delays the progression of the disease, it has no curative effect.
