Ataxia or not, half the nation were watching last night. I'd like to know what the other half were doing.
PS I'm new here

Hi Welcome 🙂 I’m far from being a football fan, but I did watch the match in Rome, and last night’s with Denmark, it’s more or less compulsory in our house 😉 I’d like to have been the Referee..I’d run out of red cards 😂
Ah. So you'd like to have been the referee! Good for you Beryl (yes I know who you are). Would you have awarded the penalty for the 'foul' against Sterling? (He was the one who does not have ataxia). It's been a subject of debate in our house.
I'm not a football fan either - just until Monday. ⚽

😶There were so many incidents..Are you referring to the one agreed by VAR..it was definitely deserved 😂 I’ll be watching with my cards on Sunday 😉
Football is a physical sport where you have to move quick (I would be hopeless) and in that situation every sinew of your being is focussed on the job. Sterling had to get that ball in the net AND the Danish chap (who also didn't have ataxia) had to do everything he could to prevent it.
The game is a game of risk (unlike snakes and ladders which is more my level) - that's what all sport is. So I don't care who agreed, I'm afraid I didn't

There must be very many people who do not care about football. None of anybody I know cares about it. As usual, I did not watch and was reading.
klazien I'm not a football fanatic. It'll be history on Monday, I'll have forgotten about it - it's not important to me. I'm just enjoying it while it's there. Come Monday I might be reading a book too. I'm currently reading some of Roald Dahl's short stories. Typically, they hold your attention and end with an unexpected twist in the last paragraph.
