Hi since lockdown last march my mobility and my balance have deteriorated badly especially balance spending more time in bed as feel safer had so many falls just keep hoping for some help for future living alone doesn't help.

As we've been locked down for a long time now, its difficult for me to distinguish between the possible effects of lockdown and what one could expect to be normal deterioration during this spell. Anyway, for whatever reason the answer is a definite yes. My condition has deteriorated significantly over the past year.

Hi Piero, I’m sorry to hear that I truly am and get where you are coming from we all do at different levels I’m sure have you been given any exercises by physio for my I have lost a lot of strength in my legs and body in general constant aches and pains but the main thing is to try and build up your core muscles if you possibly can leg stretches arms etc take care let me now if you improve i pray you do 😊

Thanks for your very genuine concern Sphinx21. I haven't seen a physio for many many years so there's no question of approved exercises. I haven't seen my consultant for around two years so essentially my decline is not monitored. I'm not sure that any of this makes much difference as the condition grinds forward inexorably and I realise that there's nothing can be done to alter that situation. Take Care

I have been self isolating since March 2020, because I was waiting for eye surgery to both eyes, only left home for medical appointments….. eye surgery is now complete, just waiting for eye vision to fully return, but I don’t think moving about indoors got worse, and I use an electric wheelchair outside❤️
