Hi Happy New Year All,

I’ve recently had my reassessment with ESA, I’ve been informed I’m fit for work. I have arsacs disease and nearly 35, I’m reliant on crutches now. Has anyone else had this happen?

Contest it, get help, use citizen's advice. Tell them you do not agree.

Yes I’m going to seek advice, woman came to my house reckons as I moved my arms ok I was fine.

My personal experiences were so bad I still cannot believe they were possible. Assessors seem to fall into very good or appalling. Truthful or utter liars. Bit dramatic but you are not alone, take heart, get as much help as you can. We really need to band together to destroy this disgraceful sometimes downright evil misspending of public money.

I to have had this happen, I have cerebellum Ataxia and have trouble walking, hand writing is really bad, slurred speach (so using the telephone is out) very poor balance have to use sticks. When I went for the interveiw and showed the tinterveiwer all my notes from the specalist she asked why I was hear, I repleyed becuase you sent a letter for me to attend. After looking over the notes she saidthis is rubbish there's no way that you are fit for work and it is unlikley you ever will be, she just stamped the paper in front of her and up until now things have been the same, so complete waist of time! had the same thing happened to my PIP assesment.
