A Glorious Morning
🙂 Good Evening John. Just logged on after travelling down to London. Glorious sunshine all the way down. 🙂
Hope your journey went without any hiccups. London? nothing ominous I hope.
I had a bit of a clear out today - an armchair and two oak coffee tables, collected by a local charity for the aged.
Bit of a wrench, but needs must, needed more space so I can move round easier in the wheelchair🤗
Loadsaspacenow😊
So, pray tell, why the journey to our capital?🏰
🙂Just a review appointment John, I honestly don’t expect much to come of it, although I do have a couple of questions 🙂
You can’t beat a bit of a clear out, can you😉 We did the same before our move, but we definitely could have been more ruthless. Although Charity still benefitted🙂 Eventually what remained was put into storage (in Hotel for almost 3wks), so when we moved into the rented house, essentials had to come back out again.
But, I didn’t pack everything myself, and some things will be forever missing until we move on again 🥴
People often complain about ‘disabled rooms’ in Hotels, but where we are now is very spacious, with a wet room 🙂
We’ve just enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast😋 and should really be out and about walking it off 😉
I used to be under a Professor Chinnery (Neurology) at the R.V.I. Newcastle, before he moved to - the rumour went he was headhunted - London about 6-8 years ago, might be longer.
He was a brilliant, top, top, man.
He was liked by all who came into contact with him😊
Everyone I spoke to sorely missed his smile & personality.
Can’t remember who I see now😂😂
I don’t go as regular now though, I see the Psychologist more times than anyone else🤗
I was wondering if you might be seeing Professor Chinnery.
Glad your hotel room is nice.
Take care, stay safe
👍
🙂 No, I won’t be seeing Prof Chinnery, as far as I know he went to do research at Cambridge.
I used to Volunteer as peer support at Newcastle Ataxia Centre (now closed), Prof Chinnery was the person to see if at all possible🙂
Dear Matelot-RN, Thank you for that uplifting message!Such welcome advice! ;o)
