Sibling 47, is having severe frozen shoulder after she fell. It was 2-3 weeks before and now even she is feeling freezing in her both shoulders. Its really made her life trouble. Any suggestion??

I had a frozen shoulder just before I got Ataxia so I completely sympathise. Very painful. The doctor gave me a steroid injection into the shoulder. It worked. Before that, the physio didn’t help. I’d go to the GP. Hope it gets sorted.

I thought I had frozen shoulder. For 3 years now I’ve been in total agony & unable to sleep etc. I had an X-ray done earlier this year & it turns out I’ve got osteoarthritis in the top corner part of my shoulder along with rotar cuff disease that’s trapping something. I’ve had to make another appointment for September when I’m going to ask to be referred to a specialist so I can ask if there’s any operation they can do because I simply can not stand the pain any longer!

But frozen shoulder can last for years, I would recommend she sees her/his GP & ask to be referred for physio ASAP as that’s the only thing that will really help. They maybe able to give a steroid injection but again your sibling would need to go see their GP.
