PLEASE PLEASE DONATE

It would mean a lot to me if everyone could keep sharing and donating! Even if it is a small amount everything helps!

Hello, I have Friedreich's Ataxia, a rare disease which causes severe problems with my balance and ability to walk, which has been slowly deteriorating. I now rely on a walker indoors and a wheelchair outside. I have a car but find it very difficult to get to the boot where my current wheelchair has to be stored because of its size and weight. Unless I have somebody to assist me I worry about falling or loosing my balance before I can get into my chair. To help keep my independence I want to get a very lightweight wheelchair that folds small enough to store inside the car on the rear passenger seat, this will allow me to get in and out of my vehicle with minimum difficulty.
