Legs hurt more, feel beyond the pain threshold. Then the hands that don’t exactly work how they should and you wonder why you just got out of bed at all!
I have tried to do more this winter than the last three and I am finding it so hard. I go out for a walk every day unless it looks really icy, although I do stick my foot out of the door.
It is just the overwhelming tiredness that is getting to me. I will still keep trying, but do any other of you feel that we just use so much more of ourselves to try and do the simple things that we did before, I already have to constantly explain my current situation to other people that have “that sympathy smile on their face”!
I have constantly classed my situation as being in “Groundhog Day” if you didn’t see the film you will not have a clue, but it doesn’t matter how much you do in one day you have do just do it all over again the next.
See, I do have the winter blues, but would love to hear from any of you for the hell of it.
Bring on Summer!

Yes, you’re not alone - it’s very frustrating and gets you down especially during these cold dark days. I agree with you we need Summer!
Try to keep smiling and waving through this time and just take your time to do anything. Keep well wrapped up even though it doesn’t look very attractive.
Hi Denise I wear tight leggings under my clothes to help with my aching legs they seem to help me. I also wear the schol tights they help aswell as keeping me warm.x
Yeah I do all that, just having a venting day. Sometimes it just gets the better of me and I want to scream. I am normally a very calm person but...…………………..
I know how you feel, that is why I call everyday groundhog day. You spend the whole day working through and then do that terrible thing like go to bed! And you start all over again the next. I do find it much harder in the winter regardless of what I put on my legs. If anyone has a fix for this I would love to know.
I feel just like you, if i do manage to get out for short distances using my rollar, i seem to pay the price the next day. Do you also have tremours? this really gets me down, my right arm and hand seem to flap, and my legs can feel like i have a mobile on vibrate going on and off, i am also affected by the cold which can increase my tremous.
I did get tremors in the beginning, but maybe exercise does help as not so much now. I do some walking everyday unless the weather is really bad as I am pretty good at falling over, I use a cross country trainer every day without fail and that seems to loosen my legs up. You do feel the next day that you are paying a price if you suddenly do more, but as long as you are prepared that it may not be better the next day and just the same I do recommend it. I can walk a mile using a crutch, but I am luckily enough to live opposite a common so I don't have to worry about the uneven paving stones or cars and when I fall over it doesn't hurt so much. But I still say roll on summer!
