Disabled Toilets
Hello Sutty789 I live in the United States, I don't live in the UK there are laws in the US that disabled people are to be treated with equal opportunity. If you have Google maps you could look at friendly places that are helpful to disabilities.
I don't think so. I believe the key phrase is 'reasonable adjustments'. If the restaurant is large, part of a large chain etc. then I would expect a disabled toilet, but a small, local restaurant, not really.
I don’t know. I bought a ‘radar key’ from Amazon in case one is locked though. £5. Helpful on motorway services.
The reason I ask is recently I went to an Indian restaurant and there was no downstairs toilet so I had to go up 2 flights of stairs..anyway when I was coming down ..I fell and broke my foot.
Yep I’ve got a solicitor on the case... especially because the bannister was wobbly..and even tho I had my stick ...I need to hold the bannister....worse thing is I landed on it and bent it.....lol
