Hi - I live in Chester....is that close enough?
Yes. lovely part of the country! there doesn't seem to be any 1 nearer. I have 1 friend in Accrington, Vicky Hoyle, shes 51. I am 56, was diagnosed at age b4 the test. Had blood test in 2016, was positive.
there are 2 support groups in Merseyside, one on the Wirral and one for Liverpool. They have get togethers and might be good for you to contact a branch and see what is going on? Liverpool contact is Michelle Burke and e-mail is mich-1985@hotmail.co.uk
the Wirral one is Mary Howarth and her e-mail is maryhowarth14@hotmail.co.uk
this information is on the Ataxia UK website - worth visiting if you haven't already!
