Sleep and Symptoms of Ataxia

I have noticed that the one thing that always has the greatest effect upon the severity of my dizziness and vertigo is how much below my average sleep time was the amount of sleep I had the night before. As my amount of sleep decreases, the severity of my Ataxia symptoms seem to increase geometrically. I wonder if this is a common experience among persons with Ataxia.

hello, I'm sure it is. I feel much better balance-wise if I get a lot of sleep. But since saying that, being in bed for a long time doesn't help with leg strength.

Having a small studio apartment there's not much space to walk about or hobble about holding onto furniture but when I proceed down the corridor, I improve slightly.

Small spaces, too many people dashing past on the pavements all doesn't agree with me.
