I was diagnosed with ms in 2005 and Parkinson’s in 2015.
I was interested in the post about difficulties walking on sand. Years ago I was so aware of almost having to crawl on sand. Having both of these diseases that have symptoms similar I’m never quite sure which causes what!

Morning. I imagine it’s both for you. I stood in the sea a couple of weeks ago and felt terribly sick and off Balance as the sea came and went around my feet. I really struggled to walk back after that. I suppose because it’s such an uneven surface it’s never going to be easy x
I’ve read that there’s a ‘very fine line’ between symptoms of specific Neurological conditions, no wonder we can empathise with each other 🙂 Shifting soft sand disorientates me, my senses are confused and what used to be a happy carefree experience is now a definite challenge. I much prefer smooth flat surfaces where I can glide along with my rollator 😉
