At our recent support group meeting I learned of a simple thing to carry a cup/mug of hot liquid. I bought some silicone discs off Amazon for about £5 and they are amazing and I no longer spill half of my mug of tea on the carpet!
They simply fit over the top to create suction and are easily removed.
I may be preaching to the converted and some of you may use something else but I thought others might find them helpful.
Let's try and share stuff that we find helpful in making our lives that little bit easier.

I know what you mean Neta, I had to pack in driving a few years ago and just to rub a bit salt in the wound, my mobility worsened. Still, looking on the bright side, I think of all the money saved in petrol!
Double vision mainly, particularly when looking to the side(without moving my head). Also things that I look at seem to move before settling down, I can't focus on one spot and can't focus at all when trying to walk.
Sounds great, but when we're talking about not spilling a drink I always talk about my Incredible Spillnot. This is a US device and was very expensive in the UK, but I see they are less than £23 on Amazon now. This works unbelievably well, I have only had one spillage in the last year and a half.
