Hint of a direct link. Exercise to proteins.

Anyone who has read my posts knows that I am continually harping on exercise. Exercise has been shown to delay symptoms of numerous neurological diseases, but until now I have not found any research that drew a link between exercise and the removal of mutant protein aggregations in the brain. The fact that protein aggregations cause ataxia or other diseases is not yet a settled scientific fact, but the preponderance of evidence is growing and pharma companies are already working on drugs based on the assumption that it is true that protein aggregates cause some neurological disorders.

Anyways . . .

Here is a study done on mice that demonstrated a direct correlation between exercise and a reduction in harmful protein aggregates.

I would also note that exercise increased BDNF which was believed to be part of the reason why protein aggregates were reduced. Here is another proven way to boost BDNF:

I started a program of exercises and wrote a book to stop Dyspraxia which caused Dyslexia and after 180 children it worked. I was diagnosed 6 years ago with Freds Ataxia. I do Pilates everyday with some of my own left/right laterality as I saw ataxia was very much your motor skills difficulties. I have atheritus in my knees but my Dr says my ataxia has stayed the same,my speech, balance, left/right has improved.I don't need to be researched, I see everyday an improvement.
