In this trial, bhv-4157 is being tested on sca1, sca2, sca3, sca6, sca7, sca8 and sca10. If the results from this trial are good, the drug will be available in 2018! Let's hope for the best!

For what I've understood, it is to replace glutamine in the brain. I don't know anything else about it, but if everything goes well, it will be the first drug approved for the treatment of sca. So maybe it will halt the progression of the disease? Fingers crossed.
