Im from the US and i have ataxia. I want to try ginger because the medicines haven't been working and I'm getting worse and desperate. I can't walk by myself anymore so i use a walker and I have bad falls. Anyone tried ginger? My sister's friend's husband used it and it helped him alot. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ginger contains chemicals that may reduce nausea and inflammation. Researchers believe the chemicals work primarily in the stomach and intestines. But they may also work in the brain and nervous system, to control nausea.
Do some research online, sometimes what works for one person, is no help to another😏 And, always be aware of possible interaction with current medication.
I totally understand the feeling of 'being prepared to try almost anything'😑.
Personally, I quite like ginger cordial as a refreshing cold drink 😋xB
Dear Magz36, I'm from the US also-the State of Michigan. I've never tried ginger, although I've read it's an anti-inflammatory and helps with nausea. Like Beryl said, be aware of any drug interactions! I recommend checking with your doctor before trying anything new! My best to you..., ;o)
