I am so sorry to hear that but it sounds like it was a sensible decision. Have you thought about using a tricycle, recumbent or otherwise?

Thanks for the idea, maybe in the future , not sure how I would feel with cars whizzing past me. I remember a scary rickshaw ride in Central London a few years ago. I think the exercise bike will get a dusting off shortly though
