Hi all, if there's one thing I'm glad about with the tremors is that I learned to touch type! I still find it very difficult to run off a post first time without it jumping around, getting words mixed up, ending up with gobblygook, editing to make it readable etc.....my backspace button's got a real shine on!!! :)

Hi Zhez!

The backspace/delete button is my most oft' used! At school I learned to touch type on a

typewriter with blank keys, I thought I would never get the hang of it. It's turned out very

useful, now I can hit the backspace key without having to think where it is!

The cursor jumping around at will, getting words mixed up and editing become a way of

life, you don't know what's going to appear next! xB

Hello Zhez,

with my brain and fingers still in union dispute over who does what and when. I have to really concentrate which makes me type even slower than slow and that is slow for me :-O

I usually don`t bother to rectify spelling errors etc, as it takes up so much of my time, but I thought I would try this time.

All my keys are pretty well polished as I must hit them more times than the normal when I`m typing (if that makes sense :-O)

Good news today, hooray for me, hooray fro me, I received a letter from ATOS and I do not have to go in front of them for a medical examinatoni. Seems they received more information about my condition and must have decided an examination would be pointless (I think they must have received a letter from my Consultant of Neurology).

Anyway it`s a load off my mind :-)

I`ll have to thank him when I see him on the 13th of next month.......................if I remember ;-)

If I remember, that`s laugh, my memory is getting worse as the weeks go by.

Anyway, I`m rambling on again. hope you all are okay keeping out of trouble ha, ha, ha.

Take care

John-H

Love your subject heading! That's made me chuckle!

Yep, it's got a real shine on now- but easier now with an IPad and Siri and Dragon Dictate on my other machine.

Hi all,

There is some software which may help. It's called Ginger, and it's free grammar and spell checking software - and it works on your web browser and email client (etc).

Like all of these sorts of things, it's not perfect, but it does pick up quite a lot of mistakes.
