Nebulisers

I started with my home nebulisers yesterday, budesonide and ventolin nebules.

Since starting I have felt quite nauseous is this normal.

My consultant decided to cut short my 6 week preds course as they weren’t helping, so I’m pleased to be off those but now just feel really sick.

Hi

I find if I have too many nebs (salbutamol) I’ll feel nauseous. Never had nebbed steroid so no comment 😅. But also be aware that suddenly stopping pred can cause nausea as well so if it doesn’t calm down I’d seek further help.

Hope this sorts things out for you x

Hello

I’ve gone from oral preds, and then weaning off on nebulised preds.

So hoping no issues.

I agree with emma, stopping pred quickly if you have been on it for a while can cause problems. Spean with your gp or asthma uk nurses
