I use a nebuliser at home, which is issued by the hospital . It's fine for use at home but runs of the mains and is big and bulky. Can anyone recommend a portable one. I am also going to a music festival in August and would need to take a nebuliser with me.
I assume a dry powder inhaler device wouldn't be he same as having a neb! I assume you'd only be using a neb if you found that normal inhalers didn't work for you??
I second the omron micro airs although my word of caution, last time I DID use it in the cinema I nearly got kicked out for smoking an ecigarette!! Hehehe! Was quite funny!!
Hahaha Soph that's hilarious! Sorry... ;-p
Yes dry powder is totally different to a neb. Massive difference in particle size and thus how well it penetrates the lungs. A good nebuliser provides a mist with tiny particles and these get in to the smallest airways which is important during an asthma attack when the small airways are further constricted.
The guy that complained left the film THREE times to go complain!! I was being so careful to make sure there was absolutely no light, and that the steam wasnt going off the top of the neb and all sorts!! Ironically it was in 'The fault in our stars' where you would probably expect a little bit of understanding for those of us with breathing issues!! lol!
