Air filters for Windows

This heat is a nightmare when doctor's advice is to close all doors and windows from 5pm (4pm on high pollen days) till 9am (10am) due to the effects of pollen on asthma conditions. Has anyone had experience of air (HEPA) filters on windows so they can stay open? Do they really work or do the spores still get through?

Hi Luciespiers

There's some information about air filters on our website, bit.ly/2sJHyCK we've got a blog coming soon from our in-house GP Dr Andy so I'll link to it when it's ready.

When you're looking at air filters, check what allergens the air filter captures. They can't remove all allergens and even a few left behind can trigger asthma symptoms so continue to use alongside your other tried and tested methods.

Hope that helps,

Dita
