Just a quick question - which might spark quite a debate, it has in our house!!! What are people's thoughts on air purifiers - their effectiveness & cost etc, just looking at the new Dyson Pure Cool, it's expensive but if it takes the pollen from the house it would be brilliant.

I have the new dyson pure cool as my son has lots of allergys, it's been brilliant, the air indoors even smells cleaner, we keep it downstairs during day and in his bedroom during the night, it's expensive but worth it for health, since having it he has slept through the night with no coughing or waking up, will get a second one when I can afford too lol x

I have the new dyson pure, it is expensive but I think it is worth it, I have it in the bedroom and I'm not waking up with blocked up nose and the air feels a lot clearer. When the weather is hot and muggy I will put it in the living room, it's a great fan as well.

It's not going to get rid of breathing problems but it might make you feel a bit more comfortable.

Hi Tre, how are you doing with Dyson Pure Cool ? I am thinking about buying one - very stuffy in the office , cannot breath there at all!

Just wondering if its better to buy a Dyson desk fan for £250 or a purifier for £350?

Does it matter, how big the room is, our office is very big - can I direct it towards myself?

Does it smell at all? Is it quiet?

Do all retailers give 14 days trial period?

Thanks

I love I & I think it's been worth every penny. Yes it's quiet, even quieter still on night mode. Yes Dyson direct do 14 day trial - not sure about retailers - free return too. When I have it downstairs during the day & it's on auto, then it can just start working, in so much the fan comes on, the reading might go up to 4, that's when there is pollen/ pollution in the air. I was on a course last week & took the fan with me, it cleared the air & kept the room cool without the need to open windows. And I'm sleeping SO much better too. For me worth every penny.
