Hospital visit

โ€ข4 Replies

It was good news, no respiratory crepitations this time! Peak flow 250, breathless!

so complete the course of doxycycline, taper down the pred, 2 weeks of the budesonide/atrovent nebs 2 to 3 times a day, continue with seretide 250 2x2 puffs, cetirizine and omeprazole 20mg

Scanner next week some time they will call me and go back in 2 weeks. I've never had a lung scanner before :( what's that like???

I hope that will nail that ugly bug on the head!

Wow, again wow;0) There must be a book in this with all your experience! I've only had CT scans for the lung which was a piece of cake, just lie back and think of England;0) The MRI scans are noisier and not to everyone's taste. I was going to have a PEt scan but you won't need one of these....

Happy breathing;0)

Hi again,

Sorry, but you will probably have to wait a few days for the specialists to look at them. My doctor was so concerned he phoned me at home! You know it's not good when that happens;0) Still here though and as I think I said before there even seems to be some healing going on. I might ask the community if they have had Bronchiectasis that heals itself.

Sleep tight..
