After 10 days in hospital with Pneumonia I finally got home yesterday. Not a bad night woke up at 3am and was wide awake. Spent an hour Christmas shopping. Great to have my own bed and no one is doing my observation every 4 hours. I have a pharmacy of pills. Currently keeping my brain occupied while resting my body. Stairs are hard!

Loving being on my own with my family at work. Already booked into my doctors with review tomorrow. Feeling very well cared for.

Great news. I so agree, nothing like being at home and being undisturbed by obs and hospital noises. Hope your recovery continues apace. xx

Hi, I've just got out after 6 days. Lung is still sore, how about you? Now I have a problem with my heart. It's not working properly. Everything has come as a bit of a shock. I've had this ongoing since 12th October. Trying to be positive but it is getting me down a bit. Waiting for MRI on my heart now. Never had a problem with that before. Hope you continue to recover. Take care.

Hi Chosychair day 3 for me after hospital. Lungs are still sensitive and energy levels are very low. Going to see my GP for follow up appointment per being in hospital. I have a few questions to ask. Sorry you are having problems with your heart. I will pray for you that they get to the bottom of it on why your heart isn't happy.

Yes 10 days was alot and did have some wobbles along the way. My brain was trying to process alot. You forget how tiring it is to have visitors. The lack of sleep, constant obs, blood test takes its toll. Upside the nhs staff were amazing. Felt very well looked after and cared for. I signed up to 2 studies one about reducing the risk of heart attack or stoke within 6 month of chest infection using asprin. My bed fellows help me get through it.

I missed my family, my pets and my home. Home is where the heart ❤️ is.

always better too be in your own bed - with a cup of tea and a good book!!! Enjoy and relax. On line Xmas shopping the perfect distraction... how about a jigsaw?

I agree even in the wee hours. Bed is best. Nearly finished my Christmas shopping and decorating my tree. I love colouring and crafting.
