have been on seritide for about 7 years started on 50 now on 250 4 puffs per day its the best one I have had, also on tiotropium powder capsules, they replaced atrovent in nebuliser, just getting over bad chest infection, nothing seemed to help very much

hi stone

thanks for your reply and the link i'll have a look now xx

Hello I am newly diagnosed COPD with emphysema/asthma and I was started on seretide 500 about two and a half weeks ago (one puff twice daily - I was also very anxious at first, I did forget to wash out mouth on my second time using and I did get thrush a little on my tongue. It cleared up quickly though and I now use my puffer at the bathroom sink and I always turn on cold tap before I use, that way I will be sure not to forget the rinse-out again - Before I started using this all I did is cough up phlegm - I do not do that now . Good Luck and I hope it works good for you like it has me :)

I'm on 125 (I think) 4 puffs daily doing well apart from bruising more easily.

I discovered seritide whilst on a clinical trial - was surprised how much better I felt- have not looked back. Feel absolutely fine. It will give u a new lease of life and is safe. Give it a try :)

i'm on 250 4 puffs a day, I use a spacer and I rinse/gargle after use.

I have bronchiectasis and mild asthma, b4 diagnosis i was on this and they took me off of it saying i didn't have asthma and i got an infection very quickly. I think it works well.
