where can i get a nebuliser for home
My local hospital gave me a nebuliser on loan when I was discharged from there. They are also responsible for its annual service. If you want to buy one then take at look at the Respironics website (just google respironic nebulisers). I'm not sure about the cost though.
Polygreen do a handy portable one for around £45+ and they are sold by Maplins ..... or you could do what I did and search for one on eBay. Mine, brand new, was £40+post & packing.
A small family company who are fast friendly and efficient evergreen-nebulizers.co.uk/
I use Evergreen's also, I highly recommend them, superb service. I presume you have nebules prescribed to go in the neb?
You need to get a prescription from your gp.
I have a Omron micro air.can use AA batteries that last 8 hours or mains.
fits in your bag and love mine.
my Asthma nurse at the hospital sorted out with my Doctor nebules on my prescriptions.xxx
A nebuliser will not stop you getting colds. You may find your doctor reluctant to prescribe nebules so please wait on buying a nebuliser until it has been agreed they will give you a prescription for the drugs to use it.
Had mine from Loyds on line pharmacy. xxx
Is it essential that you have a home nebuliser? If your consultant thinks you require one, he/she will ensure you have one. Using them rather then other methods can make matters worse. Please make sure that this medication is needed. Take care, Richard
