Am i entitled to any help from local housing council, for a bungalow??.Was to be given, treatment at home, by qualified NHS nurses, but unfortunately, my area is not approved for care in the community ,for COPD. Is anyone there, that can give me advice on any of the matters above? This is my first time askin a question, hope it is done right thanks.

Ask your doctor or health visitor if you have one to back your application, a push from someone in authority sometimes goes a long way. If that fails try playing the govt at their own game and tell them you have bedrooms you don't use and that you need smaller accomodation. It's worth a try matey.

Hi saorsa, you can also get some help through social services,,ask for the occupational therapist,,they give invaluable help while in your house,,and another person on our side for help when you move

Social services can also help with stairlifts and other aids to help you stay in your home.
