Yes if you council tenant you can get re-housed if your home is no longer sutable. For your health condition ... And or help getting up stairs
You need to get intouch with housing ... Medical team
Hope that helps all the best
Ask your doctor or health visitor if you have one to back your application, a push from someone in authority sometimes goes a long way. If that fails try playing the govt at their own game and tell them you have bedrooms you don't use and that you need smaller accomodation. It's worth a try matey.

Hi saorsa, you can also get some help through social services,,ask for the occupational therapist,,they give invaluable help while in your house,,and another person on our side for help when you move

Social services can also help with stairlifts and other aids to help you stay in your home.
