Viagra was originally being made as a drug for angina and hypertension, although it didn't work to well apparently.so make sure you talk to your doctor first.

Good for you, at least you have got the stamina to even want to try. My husband gets out of breath just thinking about it, he has the same illness as you COPD and bronchiectasis and is on 24/7 oxygen, nebulisers and god knows how many tablets. He can't even raise a laugh never mind anything else. To be honest I am not bothered, which is an enormous relief for him, once I am in bed after running up and down after him all day I have not got the energy to even think about it.

I would see your doctor before taking any more tablets, good luck.

I'm in the same situation as you sweething well almost, OH has copd and uses spriva and blue inhaler. I had to talk to gp for information on the effects of copd in this situation as looking for information on this particular subject seemed to be a bit of a taboo. As like me some women may have experienced all sorts going through their minds but you come to accept it for what it is. OH told me it's not that the want isn't there it is. There was also the fact that I worried about taking anything would have an effect on his breathing. Now it's just a case of if it happens it happens. Thankfully we still show each other affection. Difficult thing to come to terms with for both parties involved.

I don't know about talking to the doctor, I'd suggest you talk to your partner first, as it might come as a bit of a shock

Don't do it, those little blue pills give you terrible imsomnia ! Well, they kept me up all night... :D

Actually low doses of Sildenafil, the active ingredient, has been used in COPD treatment as it helps to keep the airways open. I doubt very much that you'd get a GP to prescribe them for that reason though.
