Sad to say daz I have heard stories before where GPs have been reluctant to refer and often folks have had symtoms for years. Have you asked him why he was so reluctant. Glad you stuck out for a referral. Can I ask why you have titled your thread 'My GP and anic attacks'? Did he think it was psychological?

Anyway at least now you know what you have and you sound to have a good consultant and you can work with cons to manage your health. Has he/she referred you to a respiratory physiotherapist? or is it early days yet?

Seen that before too. Luckily not all GPs are like that - not much consolation I guess. Good luck though with your future treatment. Let us know wht you think of the hypertonic.

Cheers a think al be ok now .... Will let you know how i progress

Cheers and thanks :)

I feel, dasisnotsogood, that you need to have a doctor that you have faith in. Yu can always look for a change to a sympathetic. Use word of mouth. I have bronchiectasis (wish this word was shorter) You need to watch out for chest infections. Beware of the symptoms, temperature, fever, sleepiness, phlegm, and feeling bad

Worth asking to see the respiratory nurse rather than the doctor. Bye Annie80 x .

Thanks annie80 but yes feel bad most day's but yes a can opperate in a fasion ... Is a pain all these colds chest infections ect ect ...
