I'm from the UK and take Spiriva (the same as you), Seretide (which I believe is the same as Advair) and also Ventolin which is the quick reliever plus oxygen so we are pretty similar.
I take symbicort spiriva and ventolin. I was on seretide but it gave me the shakes.
I do too.
i`m from the UK also and take spiriva , clenil modulate , serevent, ventolin, mucudyne (tablets) plus nebuliser x 4 a day. I also need regular courses of antibiotics and steroids. If i get pains in my chest or get vert brreathless i have to spend time in hospital.
what is mucudyne tablets
Hi we have been in Canada over Christmas and due to me not being able to count (lol) we ran out of Mucodyne (Carbocisteine) so had to go to a walk in clinic, paid out $120 to see the doc who gave us a prescription, off to the pharmacy only to be told it is not available in Canada. Back to the doc who eventually decided to ring the hospital and they had a liquid called acetylcisteine (may not be the right spelling) which you can ingest or inhale so we had to buy that. Carbocisteine is basically a mucalytic, loosens sticky phlegm, the same properties can be found in fresh pineapple. Hope this helps
*I would be interested to hear about medical care in the USA and it differs from the The National Health Service which we have. Happy New Year from Annie80 x

Happy new Year to you also,Wendells xx
happy new year to you too, what is onbrez
Onbrez is another puffer medication, normally taken after spiriva, some people have found it to be greatly affective, and others had side effects with it. Put the name up, in the box,and you can read about it.
Hi latingirlshyp, I am on all the same meds as above and oxygen. I have an appointment with my consultant to see if I am suitable to have pulmonary valves I don't know if you have that option over there, here is a very informative blog by someone who has had it done: blf.healthunlocked.com/blog... I was in Dayton Ohio a few years ago and found the humidity terrible! All the best,
