Air Liquide xmas closure

I had a visit from Air Liquide last week. The chap asked if I had received a leter from them about the xmas closure. Apparently the last date for ordering is the 18th Dec. Has anyone received this letter and do you have any othe info. Seems wrong to close down over the xmas period

I received the letter on Saturday and they are not closing down. They will still be responding to emergencies on their 24/7 helpline number.

However, they will not be taking routine orders and queries on Christmas Day / Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Sounds fairly reasonable to me - other workers have the holiday period off.

Just to repeat that this does not affect emergencies.

Would add that I have had to call them out in an emergency and they were brilliant. My concentrator would not stop alarming, so gave them a call late at night and they came out with a replacement within 30 mins.
