I went to doctors and just happen to say how lethagic and tired i was and felt like i was more breathless i just kept putting it down to copd.He took blood for tests and then rung up to say a perscription has been left for folic acid ,what is this used for ,does anyone know thanks

I know it is used in pregnancy and it contains vitamin B6, perhaps your vit B is low give the surgery a ring and ask.

apparently folic acid helps with depression - so lethargy I guess too - got that from a US site so I can't add the link - so just google and you'll find it no doubt.
