Duvet Protector

This is probably a very odd question! I've just been diagnosed with Bronchiectasis and when I'm ill, I get horrendous fevers at night. Can anyone recommend a duvet protector which is breathable, waterproof and doesn't rustle? I don't want to buy one that will make me sweat when I'm not ill.

Thank you!

Welcome fellow Bronchietite - sorry I can't help with a duvet cover, I only use a lightweight one and that usually ends up on the floor more often than not. The a great site that may be of use to you it's specially for Bronchiectasis sufferers, it's called - Bronchiectasis R Us - just try it out it's a mine of information for the likes of us who need that little bit of extra info.

Hi

There appear to be many places that sell products like this. It may be a case of calling round and getting information from different retailers.

Just googling waterproof mattress protectors brings up many results - a department store that you can call in to may be able to advise you more personally.

Best Wishes

Jo

Hi cusbarb

You can try these thefeathercompany.com

purelivingcollection.com

They may bit expensive but worth a try, also if you google no mite it will give you a list of places that sell bedding that won't allow dust mites to settle.

Our last holiday cottage had all the bedding marked No Mite. It was pure bliss.
